Just a note to Stefan- I persanlly think you need to come up with a plot ASAP then work out what time of year scenes need to be shot it. We need to do all winter ones ASAP

Im not saying this to you directly im saying it to everyone. Do you seriousley think we will be able to start filming this winter? You might be on about next year i dont know. A lot of work has to be put into a film and im sure you know that. This is not easy. We dont have props, costumes, not sure on camera, legal issues and our cast is not definite. We havent even come up with a name! The story is being worked on but slowly. It needs to be good and different. We're trying our best to be quick but this is about as quick as it gets. Thanks for the concern and one last question. Is there any specific reason for rushing? We havent got a deadline or anything have we?

Righto, It's just a thing that came up during the catchup meeting for WEP on Tuesday (no decisions were made- just views). I think that three-four months is a long enough time gap to create and film any winter scenes. every one has the key things:
  • Motivation
  • Skills

And if evry one worked hard, we could easily have a few scene's done within 3/4 months.

Camera
Why are you unsure about this? From what you have said you want
to use your mums. Which is fair enough- But also rember that I have one we/ you can use at ANYTIME.

Why the rush?
Well- every one ive spoken to wants make it soon! We are all excited. Why be slow when we can be quick-and still give the same results? every one is keen to get cracking! I/We understand it's alot of effort, But I feel like we have the right skills to complete a good film. I honestly think we could make a better one than LOL.

Conclusion
I know it sounds like I'm jumping the gun, but I just think that if we could release it by next Christmas it would be better than next march. People wil be getting the games ect... It will get hype.

I agree with Luke that we should try and do it quickly. I'm not saying we should rush it, I'm just saying that the longer something takes, the less motived we might be. Also, we need to make sure that we DO make this movie, as silly as it might sound.

No chance of starting to film before the end of this winter. Might be going good before the middle of next year though...

yayaness! I suggest a remake of the thing you showed us. So that I can get a feel for how you want it filmed and edited? I don't want to invite my self round but- It would make most sence at either IATI or Link's house and for me to bring my PC for us all to look/edit on Smile

Fair enough. Then it's either Stefan's, or we could film it in Blenheim and sleep here or christo's? Or i suppose i could just bring the footage home and edit it on my own?

The plugins I use are not high tec! All they do is colour correct, but very well. which makes it a lot nice movie to watch. If you don't want my help, then just say.

Now come'on LU** thats just not fair and you know it. We need you in this film and i dont want you to go away. I would do this for your benefit. Its just for this test scene it just might be easier thats all.

Ok. I might of voer reacted, sorry. But- My point is thats its the test scene, the time where we all get a feel for how we want it done. and colour correction is on t.he top of my lists for a good looking film, and so for the actual thing I will use it. So- it would be of interest of every one if we did use it. That said- We can always just film at the sleep over and I edit at home with updates though the forums?
